Anna is increasingly overwhelmed by flashbacks and is coming closer and closer to disaster. Lucas wants Anna to see the truth about a case Manuel appeared to bungle. Caldera is worried she might be getting sidelined in the case. 

Anna tries to keep control of the situation she has plunged into. Guillot decides to use Caldera more effectively in the investigation and sends her to speak to Anna's mother, who believes that Manuel was the perfect husband. However, she changes her mind when she realises that she and Louis are being followed.

A distraught woman, under her toxic husband's influence for years, snaps after yet another feud. Later, at a police station she tells officers that she believes has killed him. However, after seeing visions of her apparently dead spouse, she realises both her life and that of her son's are in danger.
