Yolande is losing patience with all the conditions Edmour has set for his trip. Zoël wants to earn some money by replacing Edmour on the farm and tries to convince Terri to move in with him. Gilberte wants to sell the idea of a twinning between Saint-Prospère and a village in France to the town's development committee. Rita and Darlene try to rekindle their friendship, despite a stressful situation at the guesthouse.

Having found a project she's passionate about, Rita assumes Gilberte will want to develop it with her. Lomer must proceed carefully to try and allay Rita's suspicions about Darlene without ruining his chances of a relationship with her.
