Marion and Romeo have to update their administration, according to the pressured Zitman. Fortunately, they are asked to help Wolfs and Eva search for a girl who may have seen the perpetrator. That puts them on the trail of a loverboy. Nico has made a weighty decision.

A popular teacher dies in a stabbing at a school. A witness reports that the perpetrator seemed to be calling the teacher to account. When it turns out that the teacher is also a foster parent, the investigation initially focuses on that. When a second death occurs shortly afterwards, a youth care worker, all the alarm bells go off. Romeo and Marion are confronted with a neighbor dispute in which an old woman is seriously threatened.
