With the tragedy unfolding, Kyle's hesitant to leave, but explains to Sheila that he has to follow his heart and go be with Georgia. Kyle offers Amy the business and has a tough time of explaining his departure to Jimmy. When he says his final farewells, everyone is devastated to see he and Bossy go.

The community are still rocked by the explosion at Lassiters. Terese is shell-shocked at losing her son and Brad, who also lost his dad, comes over to offer support. When Brad discovers Paul Robinson has been taken in for questioning by the police he assumes the worst. Paul is responsible for the explosion. Terese defends Paul and protests his innocence.
