After a 4-day training exercise, Penny returns home to announce that she's invited a senior colleague for tea - the next day. Russell's feeling increasingly put out and is, to say the least, not amused by this new imposition.

Russell's got a head start on his new business, and Penny's facing her last interviews before rejoining the army. Unfortunately, whilst waiting at home for very important kit to arrive, Russell discovers that doing the right thing could cost him dearly.

With new baby Emma to take care of, Penny is getting restless at home and otherwise alone all day: it's a far cry from her previous job in the army! Meanwhile, Russell's got the chance of a lucrative promotion - if he moves the family to Scotland...
