After six weeks of gruelling challenges, just two tough challenges stand between them and the title. The remaining celebrities must draw on everything they have learned over the past few weeks and cook to the very highest of standards if they are to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. Their penultimate challenge is the toughest and most daunting of the competition - The Chef's Table. This year it will be hosted by critically acclaimed chef Bryn Williams. The three finalists will be working at his new restaurant, Bryn Williams at Somerset House, cooking for an exceptional gathering of some the best chefs in the country - Marcus Wareing (2 Michelin stars), Lisa Goodwin-Allen (1 Michelin star), Shaun Rankin (1 Michelin star), Robin Gill and Romy Gill MBE.

Episode 11

It's finals week and the four remaining cooks continue to battle for the Celebrity MasterChef title. The celebrities' first challenge is their most daunting yet - to cook an afternoon tea. Each celebrity has just two hours to cook two sweet and two savoury items but they will not only have to impress John and Gregg, but also leading pastry chef Eric Lanlard. Then, in their last challenge as a quartet, the celebrities must cook two dishes of their own design for three of the country's most feared restaurant critics, for a place in the final three. Serving food to these masters of the dining room is a daunting task for even the most adept chefs, and the celebrities' choice of dishes will be key to securing them a place in the final.

Episode 10

It is the last of the semi-finals, and the six remaining celebrity cooks continue to battle it out. Their first task is the Pie Challenge. Each contestant is tasked with making the pie of their choice, sweet or savoury, in one hour and fifty minutes from ingredients including a range of meat and fish and a wide selection of fruit and vegetables. The remaining five celebrities must then prepare a five-course lunch in celebration of over 40 years of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow, cooking for some of the experts from the series. They cook a specially designed menu created by award-winning chef Paul Askew. Under his guidance, and following a recipe, they each have to recreate one of his dishes. It is then back to the MasterChef kitchen, where the final five must each create one exceptional dish inspired by someone they love or admire. For the cook who does not make the grade, their competition is over. The remaining four go through to finals week.

After four weeks of competition it is the first of the semi-finals, and the best eight cooks remain. The celebrities must now cook a feast for 90 of the staff and volunteers at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, West Midlands, in specially constructed marquee kitchens. Split into two teams, it's a race against the clock as the celebrities must design and create four mouthwatering dishes each (a meat, fish and vegetarian dish, and dessert) from a selection of ingredients, including pork belly, beef rump, mackerel and whole haddock, as well as a selection of fruit and vegetables, and herbs and spices. Next it's back to the MasterChef kitchen, where they face an invention test with a difference. Each contestant is given their favourite ingredient, ranging from steak to rabbit, as well as lobster and butternut squash. They have just 90 minutes to cook a dish that showcases that ingredient to keep them in the competition. At the end of this challenge more celebrities are sent home.
