With the company money gone, Amanda suggests to Ditmar and Dupont that the three of them run the hotel next summer. Weyse returns from his two cute high school graduates. Ditmar's mom's engaged. Will Robert get on the ferry to Sweden?
Madsen sees Robert when he nearly runs down a hen. Amanda spends all her money on a tourist film before the contract is signed. Weyse still needs a psychologist. Jesper plays jazz in Skagen.
Leslie hopes for a second date with Nana. His mom has plans for him in the company. Robert has secretly returned to Denmark and contacts Olga at the hotel.
Weyse sees a psychoanalyst. Molin comes to talk with Madsen about doing business in Germany and to see his ex. Mrs. Andersen, Mr. Kjær and Emma return from Fie in England. Leslie tries to get a date with Nana.
Six years have passed, and dark clouds are gathering over Europe. The regular guests of the beach hotel are still set for their vacation. Mrs. Frigh is now chair of the tobacco factory, and has grand plans for her now grown son Leslie. But she has not taken into account the new maid Nana. Amanda struggles to keep her ad agency afloat, while Mr. Weyse tries to forget an unfortunate incident onstage last year. Merchant Madsen has his hopes up for a building project in Nazi Germany.
We are in the summer of 1931, and the sun is again shining down from the blue sky over Jutland. Again Andersens Bathing Hotel opens its doors for the slightly excentric guests from Copenhagen, who again will create lots of trouble and distraction for the employees, owners and neighbours.
