Trouble abounds when a love potion meant for Esmeralda ends up in the clam dip at the Stephens' party.
Samantha gives Darrin an amulet that makes Endora be nice and courteous around him. After Endora realizes the trick, she makes Samantha and Darrin constantly bicker.
A picture blinked up by Endora about Samantha gives Larry the impression that Darrin is a great artist and wants him to do a picture of Louise. Samantha helps Darrin out by giving him artistic magic to create a beautiful painting of Louise, but Endora zaps it to be the ugliest thing on earth!
A leprechaun sent by Endora gives Darrin a pair of shoes that make him terminally lazy.
Darrin's client falls for Samantha thinking that she is Serena. Samantha tries to get the whole thing straightened out, but it only results in Darrin losing his account. Dinsdale sees the truth for himself when Samantha and Serena come together.
Samantha, Darrin, Esmerelda and Dr. Bombay are all trapped in their home because she has not been using witchcraft.
At the office, Darrin meets Dusty, daughter of important client John Harrison who clearly only wants to learn the business. Because she promised to not interfere, Endora enlists Serena's help in casting a spell that makes Dusty fall madly in love with Darrin.
When a store clerk wishes that he was a kid again, Tabitha grants his wish.
Serena wants Boyce and Hart to play at the Cosmos Cotillion, but they are booked "until 1976". Serena puts a spell on them to make them unpopular until they perform at the cotillion and sing her song. Once they perform at the Cotillion, Samantha insists Serena remove the spell.
To give Darrin more ambition, Endora puts a spell on him giving him the push and verve that he needs. He takes it a bit too far when he takes control over an account that he and Larry were working on together. Darrin then has no time for Samantha or the children because of this spell and Samantha gets through to him by telling him that he is under a spell and to undo the damage he caused.
Uncle Arthur's magic is going out of whack, and Dr. Bombay helps him out by giving him a pill. This pill, however, makes Arthur become anything he thinks off. After being transformed a few times, Samantha decides to take him outside for some air. Arthur states that he feels like Superman, and all of a sudden, he has a Superman suit and flies in the air! This cause major pandemonium in the neighborhood, and Samantha convinces Darrin and Larry that it is great campaign for a client they are working with.
As Samantha has too much work with the new baby to spend time with her, Tabitha conjures up her own Samantha.
Phyllis catches Samantha using her magic powers and doesn't really know what to think. So, after six years, Samantha finally tells Phyllis that she is a witch and gives her a demonstation of her powers. Phyllis tells Frank about Samantha, and she tries to show Frank, but her powers have been taken away! Because of all this, Phyllis commits herself to a nursing home, convinced that she is a lunatic.
After learning that "plays on words" helps Darrin in his line of work, Endora casts a spell that makes Darrin speak only in clichés. Whether she meant to pick on Darrin or not, Endora ends up helping Darrin in the end after all.
Esmeralda hexes a glass of milk for Tabitha so she will want to eat, but Samantha drinks it by mistake and goes on an eating frenzy!
Samantha and Darrin are soon off to the Caribbean on what will be their first real vacation in five years, fully expecting Larry to interrupt their attempt at a vacation with a work assignment. Samantha and Darrin flashback to just before Adam was born, whenDarrin has to go to Japan to do business with a client, but cannot leave Samantha's side when her baby is due. Endora breaks Darrin into two people: the fun Darrin and the business Darrin, with strange and hilarious results.

Esmeralda brings up the real Santa Claus and cannot get him back to the North Pole. So Samantha blinks up his elves and sleigh and reindeer, much to the horror of Gladys, who instantly reports all that she sees to Abner, who does not listen to her.
To keep the peace, Samantha implores Darrin to be agreeable with Endora when she next visits. He does so, but rather sarcastically. Endora does not like this new view of Darrin, so she, without Samantha or Darrin's knowledge, places a spell on him to make him agree with anything that anyone says.
Esmeralda is reading Mother Goose to Tabitha, and ends up sneezing up the real Mother Goose. Things get worse when Darrin's mother comes by after leaving her husband.
Samantha is worried about Darrin who seems to be enjoying his new found powers too much.
Maurice comes for a visit and gives Darrin a magical charm challenging Darrin to try their lifestyle instead of just condemning it. Maurice also gives Darrin a warlock's point of view on the subject.
After one altercation too many with her, Darrin banishes Endora from the house forever. In turn, Endora, without Darrin's knowledge, threatens to turn him into a mouse at midnight unless he rescinds his banishment decree against her. As she knows he won't, Samantha decides to take preventative action by consulting the apothecary to see if there is anything that can be done to counter such a spell that Endora might use.
While performing magic tricks for the neighborhood children, Uncle Arthur produces a "cocktail bunny" instead of a "cottontail bunny" with whom Darren's client falls in love.
For participating in Halloween trick-or-treating and disrespecting witches in general, Endora turns Darrin into a stereotypical Halloween witch.
Angry that the new male child is not named after him, Maurice zaps Darrin into the mirror until the situation is corrected to his satisfaction. The child is finally named Adam.
After Samantha gives birth to her son, Maurice casts a spell that makes all who gaze on him fall in love with the child.
Whenever Samantha thinks of food, it appears in her hand. Dr. Bombay helps her out with her condition, but it doesn't work because now she goes to the food!
Bumbling Esmeralda zaps up Julius Caesar instead of a Caesar Salad. Samantha wants him to go home, but Caesar does not want to leave the twentieth century. So Samantha pops up Cleopatra to lure Caesar back into his own time.
Endora comes by and tells Samantha and Darrin that she found a maid to help during Sam's pregnancy. The new maid is Esmeralda, a shy and insecure witch who fades in and out when she is nervous. Knowing Sam could use the help, Darrin reluctantly agrees.
With Sam being busy preparing for the new baby, Tabitha feels neglected and decides to trade places with Jack, as in "Jack in the Beanstalk" Jack. After realizing what happened, Sam goes into the book in order to retrieve her daughter and to put Jack back into the story.
