Relentlessly tracked down by the CIA and the DGSE, Malotru is hiding out in Moscow where he is forced to collaborate with the Russian secret services. Back in Paris, the Bureau is in the firing line of JJA, the new Director of Internal Security. Nevertheless the Bureau launches a new, large-scale operation consisting of sending a secret agent to infiltrate Russian hackers in Moscow.
In Ukraine, Malotru arrives at the exchange location to get Marina. But on the way back, their convoy deviates from the planned route.
Malotru parts ways with Samara and comes back to France, where he is to be held in solitary confinement.
Karlov asks Malotru to join the FSB in Moscow.
In Moscow, Malotru welcomes César, who has taken Ellenstein's identity.
